Lendl was the same, said he couldn't wait to pack up tennis because he didn't really enjoy it. Just happened to be rather good at it.

Another miserable bastard

3 Champions League wins in 2 and a half seasons for Zidane.
Won La Liga in one of the two full seasons he had.

Reckon he has earned a go at another big club.
One thing he did do was set them up properly with an actual defensive midfielder in Casemiro instead of TOO MANY ATTACKING PLAYERS.

Anyone who beat Liverpool in a Champions League final is all right by me.

Re: Mourinho - Clock is ticking?
I'm convinced that deep down Mourinho doesn't really like football very much...or have much love for it at all.

What I do think is that he found an outlet or vehicle that helps him overcome some sort of insecurity/inferiority complex and feel good about himself.

He wouldn't be the first human being in history to fall into a job he was very good at but never really very much despite the success and lucrative salary.

I’m not convinced by Zidane.

Re: Mourinho - Clock is ticking?
Zidane in hindsight picked the perfect time to walk away from Real with CRonaldo going.
Wins the Champions League and leaves ... TIMING
Has put pressure on all the big team managers as he now hovers in the background

I actually admire tge board and Woodward for standing up to this miserable sulky cunt.

In summary he wanted to soend 60 million plus on 2 centre backs last season, so they dud, now he's saying he wants or needs another...in essence saying those HE bought are not good enough

Board thinks, why would the next one work out ?

They've called his bluff plus they are now circulating rumours of Zidane.....love it !

BTW, my step daughter knows the places he hangs out in West London, is a serial womaniser

Re: Mourinho - Clock is ticking?
He’s a dinosaur. His methods are 3 or 4 years out of date. You look at the best two teams in the league & they play nothing like them.
He’s negative & defensive and his sulking radiates into his team.

Klopp, Pep & now Sarri are streets ahead of him.

Vexed - "He's miserable presumably because he's bored of winning."

Absolute bollocks. He's miserable because he's an egotistical cunt who thinks he's bigger than Man Utd, a spoilt child who's not getting his own way. How anyone can say they like him is seriously beyond me, unless it's because they enjoy laughing at his sulky antics. I really hope he struggles to get a job after Man Utd and has to drop down a division somewhere. He'll probably end up working for clueless rich Yanks or Chinese.

Re: Mourinho - Clock is ticking?
Got him at 7-1 in sack race a while back.

Can almost guarantee theyll out Hughes first thus denying me satisfaction of wining my bet and seeing him go.

It does feel like he goads boards into sacking him, just to earn more dosh.

Yeah - does sound familiar....

Isn't his 3rd season at any club where it goes massively wrong?

Sven Roeder 10:00 Sat Aug 25
Re: Mourinho - Clock is ticking?
What are the issues around Man U at the moment?
Mourinho’s feud with Woodward over buying extra centre halves
Mourinho’s relationship with Pogba and getting him to show his France form
Man U’s performance at Brighton & the general comparison of them with Man City and Liverpool
Mourinho’s generally negative sulky behaviour & criticism of his players

Not sure what else the press should ask him.
That’s the nature of football

Eye gouging classless cunt. Rich mans allardyce. Hovered over Van Gaal like a vulture long before he’d been given the boot. Football wouldn’t miss him one bit.

Are you sure Sven? I watched that interview and it was obviously a fit up by journalists who weren't interested in the game but Mourinho's relationship with the MD of Man Utd - Woodward. Mourinho said it was fine but the whole report was what I would call "fake news". And it's still on the BBC Sport pages...

Re: Mourinho - Clock is ticking?
was reading an old 4-4-2 article about him earlier and there's a picture of him when he was a translator/junior coach walking between guardiola & luis enrique. you can only guess what's making him so unhappy but maybe pep reminds him often of his humble beginnings and asks him where he played before becoming bobby robson's lackey :.)

Well as Eddie said to Spudgun and Dave in the Holy Episode of Bottom celebrating the special one...

"She lost a lot of blood this morning and she hasn't got the stamina! Great, shall we have a drink, then? Here we are - Cheers!"

Re: Mourinho - Clock is ticking?
Apart from his success, him and Allardyce are very alike. Once the writing is on the wall they do all they can to get the boot and a multi million pound pay off.
